Singer, Fiddle Player, Ceilidh Caller & DJ - The One Man Party Band!

For almost 30 years, JD (John Duncan) has been playing at Events across Scotland from Weddings and Corporate Events, to Ladies' Days and Private Parties. Born & Bred in Aberdeen he performs mostly in the North East, and has great relationships with all the major Hotels and Venues.

Having played and sung with bands such as Referendum and The Limit, he has a wealth of experience and a wide selection of music to choose from. Covers, Ceilidh and Disco options are all included in just one booking.

He will work with you to get the right package together for your Wedding, Party or Event. Take a look at the options available and get in touch for availability and prices

Your Event

Every event is unique and will be treated as such. There is no set playlist, so no two events will be the same.

One of the advantages of having such a selection of music to choose from is JD can adapt to your crowd on the day.

With over 500 songs to choose from - and new ones being added all the time - all tastes and styles are accommodated for.

If you have a specific theme for your event the music can also be tailored to suit, themes could include:

Party, Pop, Rock, Motown & Soul, American Songbook, 1980's, Country, Soundtracks, Christmas and more

JD has been a fiddle player since the age of six, so hopefully he's getting good at it by now!

Alongside the traditional tunes for Ceilidh dances, the music is mixed with chart songs and styles to give it a modern twist.

Your dances can also be called for you if you are new to them, or have guests from further afield. They will be well known dances to include as many people as possible

Throughout the evening, during any breaks and to finish the evening or event off, a disco is also part of the package so you can get all your favourite original songs alongside the live singing and fiddle playing.

This means for the whole of your Wedding or Party you will have music and requests are always welcome.
